How to find the right shade?

Porcelain is suitable for very pale skin tones.
It’s important to find the right shade of foundation for your skin tone. Try our inexpensive samples in order to ensure you have an exact match.
Remember to match your foundation to the skin tone on your jaw line, and not on your hand (they may be very different).
If a shade looks too ashy it’s too pale for you, if it looks orange (even the slightest bit!) it’s too dark. With mineral foundation it’s easy to mix shades together as well.
For guidance choosing your shade look at your skin in daylight, you may notice that you have more pinky tones or more yellowy tones, so then choose a shade which matches the undertones.
Looking at the veins in your wrists can also help, if the veins look blue, you’re more likely to have cool colouring, with pinky undertones and if the veins look more green, warm undertones and yellow colouring.

Worth sampling to figure out proper shade

I literally ordered every single light, light-medium, and medium color in the sample size in order to figure out my shade match. My skin fluctuates between light, light-medium, to medium depending on how much sun I get. Also, make-up tends to oxidize and darken on my skin. I discovered that I am in the "Neutral" family and Barely Buff, In The Buff, and Cookie are the best shades for me. For reference, I am Asian-American, Fitzpatrick Skin Type IV. Initially, I had a difficult time discerning whether I had a neutral, cool, or warm undertone. What helped me make the determination was figuring out what color jewelry looks best on me - those with "neutral" undertones supposedly look good in either gold/silver jewelry, and I find that to be true for me. Hope this helps!

Being pale i really struggle to find a foundation that matches me but this one does so well and for an added bonus my skin has improved. I suffer with the occasional spot and as soon as i ran out of this and went back to my normal foundation i soon realized that this foundation really kept my skin clear.
